Justification<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

The identified problems are as follows: Families in peri-urban areas facing food insecurity, who also struggle with issues related to water scarcity, in an environment where violence against women is present. Youth and students experience malnutrition and have limited knowledge about the importance of healthy eating, water care, and caring for their environment.<\/p>\n

General objective:<\/strong> Women and young students from peri-urban neighborhoods of District 7 in the municipality of Viacha strengthen their food sovereignty, water care, and empowerment.<\/p>\n

Specific objective:<\/strong> Women, young students, and local authorities advocate for and exercise their right to healthy food by implementing agroecological productive initiatives within a framework of water care, with a gender, intergenerational, and climate-resilience approach in the peri-urban areas of Viacha.<\/p>\n
