In urban areas, where the majority of the population is concentrated, the sanitary problems derived from the lack of coverage of drinking water and sanitation are important. In the city of Trinidad there are 15 neighborhoods of the city (extra-radio) that do not have a water supply. Given this situation, the neighborhood boards of the Nueva Trinidad neighborhood have organized to demand and achieve this basic need, which is the supply of drinking water in their area.
