The Plurinational State of Bolivia and the Ministry of Education has strived to confront the problem of school gender violence at the national level.\u00a0 This project seeks to render more effective the regulations for preventing violence,\u00a0 assisting victims and protecting\u00a0 women from violence, especially in the school environment. The first phase of this program focused on student training in the final secondary school years. Local women requested that the second phase of this project be focused on primary and secondary school levels and involve working with the school management staff and teachers by including the prevention of school and gender violence in the syllabus.<\/p>\n
