Justification<\/h2>\n

In the intervention area, the absence of medical specialists in the public health system is a fact, most of them serve in private spaces. In addition, the public health system works with children up to the age of 5 and does not collaborate with civil society organizations. This leaves a wide swath of the population uncovered by any free health care system.   • Training of 4 new health promoters and continuous training for 15 old promoters with 4 theoretical workshops and practical sessions twice a month, for 6 months, with the doctor of the Health and Good Living Bus.<\/li>\n
  • 10 training workshops for 120 women from eight communities. 1 workshop per month for 10 months in eight communities.<\/li>\n
  • 3 job skills training workshops: crafts and confectionery for 120 women.
    \n120 women participate in the first fair of skills, ancestral medicine and traditional foods.<\/li>\n
  • 6 fortnightly training workshops for 6 months in eight communities, 320 children.<\/li>\n
  • 6 cultural and sports activities (theater, music, march against violence, murals with messages, ecological campaign, sporting event, recreation activity) in eight communities, 320 children.<\/li>\n
  • School support for 150 children in reading, writing and mathematics with the support of young community volunteers and education science students, twice a month for 10 months.<\/li>\n
  • 16 volunteer adolescents are part of the “Supporting my community” program in recreational, cultural, sports activities, school support and accompaniment to older adults in a situation of abandonment. Twice a month in eight communities.<\/li>\n
  • 10 adolescents are supported with transportation to complete their school or technical studies.<\/li>\n
  • 16 young people from eight communities participate in the Annual Youth Meeting.<\/li>\n
  • Fortnightly medical consultation for 10 months in eight communities, 1,800 patients, 240 days.<\/li>\n
  • Five families without resources benefit from the Solidarity Health Fund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
