Justification

This third phase aims to build upon the progress made in the previous phase, with continued support from the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia. The objectives are to further develop the processing skills of the women of ACOMADEGUA, increase the number of family farms engaged in environmentally friendly pig production practices, enhance their technical capabilities, strengthen community marketing efforts, and update ACOMADEGUA’s business and strategic plan, among other initiatives. The continuation of these efforts will contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of the Women’s Cooperative Association ACOMADEGUA, ensuring its long-term success and positive impact on the community and the environment.

Objective

General Objective: Strengthen the business management, organizational capacity, and productive value chains of the Women’s Cooperative Association ACOMADEGUA R.L., ensuring equitable inclusion and efficient and sustainable use of available resources in the municipalities, empowering them to be agents of their own development.

  • Establishment of 5 family pig production systems and 5 biodigesters.

  • Implementation of prophylactic plans.
  • Agricultural and veterinary technical support.
  • Follow-up on the renewal of the health permit for the processing plant.
  • Purchase of materials and equipment for sausage processing.
  • Pork processing to obtain 4 products (Premium Sausage, Popular Sausage, Pork Ribs, Pork Cracklings).
  • Signing of the transfer agreement between CORDES and ACOMADEGUA R.L.
  • Technical support in processing.
  • Execution of the business plan.
  • Installation of a marketing store.
  • Marketing of processed products in two marketing stores.
  • Development of two Assemblies.
  • Follow-up on the operation of the automated information system for ACOMADEGUA’s accounting.
  • Technical support for organizational aspects.
  • Virtual exchange between AMILLENA Women’s Cooperative from Bizkaia, ACOMADEGUA Women’s Cooperative Association, and three municipal women’s associations (ADCMA in Aguilares, AMUDEP in El Paisnal, ADEMGUAPE in San Pablo Tacachico).
  • Project socialization.
  • Preparation of technical and economic reports.
