Listening and Training Center Dar Al-Majus, next to the vulnerable people of Bethlehem
PalestinaJustification
The aim of the center is to enhance the richness of the Palestinian cultural heritage and promote the economic and social revival of the local community. It also seeks to improve support services for young people and women in a context such as that of the Belén Governorate, where the permanent conflict and limited freedom of movement generate a precarious economic situation and a climate of great social tension.
In particular, young people and women represent the most vulnerable part, since they rarely benefit from equal access to the labor market and, for this reason, are left on the margins of society and without real prospects for the future.
The Listening Center to be set up will be open to the entire local community, without distinction of religion, ethnicity, sex or age, and will be a place where each person will be listened to and accompanied through the following areas of support: listening and aid; vocational training and help at work.
